What's Difference Between Double-Level and 2 In 2 Out Terminal Blocks?

  • Double-Level Terminal Block A double-level terminal block has two independent wiring levels stacked in one compact unit. Each level provides one-in and one-out connections, functioning as two separate circuits within a single block. This design helps save DIN rail space and is widely used for PLC wiring, signal distribution, and compact control panels.
  • Two-In Two-Out Terminal Block A two-in two-out terminal block provides four connection points (two inputs and two outputs) all connected to the same potential. This allows one power source to be distributed directly to multiple devices without additional jumpers. It is commonly used for power distribution and multi-device connections.

✅ Summary:

  • Double-level = two circuits, independent layers
  • Two-in two-out = one potential, multiple connections

PT-PE Grounding Series

Ground terminal blocks provide a secure path to discharge fault current and protect both equipment and personnel. They improve electrical safety, stabilize system performance by reducing electromagnetic interference, and ensure compliance with international installation standards such as IEC and UL.

PT6PT6-PEMCCs, automation power circuits
PT10PT10-PEPower supply, inverters
PT16PT16-PEMain power distribution, heavy loads

Attention:

👉 The grounding terminal block (PE Terminal Block) features a yellow-green housing and is sized identically to standard terminals on corresponding models, facilitating uniform installation.
👉It connects directly to the DIN rail via metal legs or clips, ensuring reliable grounding.
👉Not all special-function terminals (such as double-deck, fuse, and test terminals) have grounding versions.

PTC4-HESI Fuse Series

A fuse terminal is a terminal that integrates a fuse or fuse function based on a common rail-type terminal block. It can not only achieve electrical connection, but also provide overcurrent protection for the circuit.

PTC4-HESI fusible plug-in fuse terminal

PTC4-HESI Fuse Terminal

When Are Fuse Terminal Blocks Needed?

  • When circuit protection is required directly at the terminal point
  • Para sensitive devices such as PLCs and sensors where overload could cause failure
  • En compact control panels where saving space and simplifying wiring is important
  • When quick visual inspection of circuit protection status is desired

📌Differences
Generally Necessary:

  • Ordinary Terminal Blocks (One Input, One Output)
  • Ground Terminal (PE)
  • Common Multi-Layer or Multi-Input, Multi-Output Models

Optional Features:

  • Fuse Terminal → Provides overcurrent protection directly at the terminal (commonly used in PLC signal circuits and small power supply branches).
  • Test Terminals, Terminal Blocks with Switches, etc. → Choose based on specific application requirements.

👉 Therefore: Ground terminals are essential for safety, while fuse terminals are optional for the application.
